Flanders' technology cartoon

Flanders Technology was a hype at the time. It was an international trade fair in Flanders, it was the local symbol of technical progress.
To make their image even more people-friendly, they organized a cartoon competition.

My cartoon was not selected. When I saw the selection it immediately became clear to me why.
The cartoons were just fun, super positive and friendly towards the theme, mine was funny, but also warning at the same time.

Some of the selected cartoons were not very funny or well drawn at all.
I was so inexperienced and naive that I thought I could have been selected, or even win a prize. Not so!
But I still think it's a nice, funny drawing.
